Karamanlis will visit Croatia as part of his mini tour, which will also include Serbia and Montenegro, and Kosovo. The purpose of his visit is to give full support to the European prospects of the Western Balkan countries.
After Zagreb, Karamanlis will travel to Belgrade to meet for talks with Serbian President Boris Tadic and Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic.
On Thursday, the Greek prime minister will meet his Serbian counterpart, Vojislav Kostunica, and the President of Serbia and Montenegro, Svetozar Marovic. He will then proceed to Pristina to meet Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova, leaders of the Serb minority and the head of the UN mission, Soren Jessen-Petersen.
