Biscevic visited Tunisia and Saudi Arabia on February 26 and 27, the statement said.
In Tunisia, the Croatian official held talks with Deputy Minister for Europe Hatemon Ben Salemon whom he presented with the invitation of Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader for Tunisian Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi to visit Croatia. Also invited was a delegation of Tunisian businessmen given the mutual interest in the strengthening of economic cooperation, notably in tourism, the statement said.
Biscevic and Ben Salem exchanged opinions about the two countries' relations with the European Union, the situation in the Near East, notably Iraq and Iran, and the peace process in relation between Israel and the Palestinian self-government.
In Saudi Arabia, the Croatian official held talks with Economy Minister Khaled Al Gosebi, whom he invited to visit Croatia.
