market, it was said at a panel discussion on the EU policy towards the dairy
sector held in the eastern Croatian city of Osijek on Wednesday.The event was organised by the Osijek County Chamber, the Dutch Embassy
in Croatia and the Croatian Cattle Breeding Centre.
The president of the board of the Veepro Holland company, Jan Venneman,
said that the price of milk in Croatia was probably the highest in Europe. He
said that after the country's joining the EU the price of milk should go
down.
