Grabar Kitarovic met Slovakia's deputy PM in charge of European affairs, Pal Csaky, to discuss bilateral relations and Croatia's integration with the EU. Csaky fully supported the opening of Croatia's negotiations with the EU in mid-March, said the spokeswoman for the Croatian European Integration Ministry, Ivana Crnic.
Minister Grabar Kitarovic informed the Slovak official of Croatia's efforts regarding its integration with the EU. The talks also addressed the last condition for entry talks set by Brussels. Csaky said Slovakia did not consider the issue of General Ante Gotovina a political problem and added that Croatia had Slovakia's full support, Crnic said.
Csaky offered Slovakia's expert and technical assistance in attracting foreign investments and in the use of EU pre-accession funds.
Later today, the Croatian minister will meet Slovak Foreign Minister Eduard Kukan.
