Sanader informed members of his cabinet that German and French ministers for European affairs, whom he met today, showed a high level of understanding for Croatia's arguments, and stressed that Croatia would try to assure other EU members that it was fully cooperating with the ICTY and meeting the last condition for the start of EU entry talks.
The PM said at today's government session that he would continue to hold consultations with parliamentary parties regarding Croatia's association with the EU.
We are waiting for the parties to submit lists of candidates for negotiating teams, the PM said.
Sanader hailed the measures the Croatian National Bank had taken to stop the growth of the country's external debt.
