The diplomatic ball pooled some 500 guests from Croatia and abroad, including Croatian European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic and ambassadors of Albania, Australia, Macedonia, Japan, Belgium, Finland, Ukraine, UNHCR and the president of the Federation of the European Carnival Cities (FECC) Henry van der Croon.
At the VIP ball, the main topic of which was the four seasons, there were also many other very public figures, including businessmen, business partners from abroad and cultural workers.
At the opening, Rijeka Mayor Vojko Obersnel welcomed all the participants, and Albanian Ambassador Arben Cici held a speech on behalf of the guests. The ball continued into the early hours of Sunday.
