Slavonia".
ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - The Republic of Austria, Croatia's
Vukovar-Srijem County and the cities of Vukovar and Ilok, in Zagreb on
Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch the project
"Development of Tourism in Eastern Slavonia".The project, financed by the Austrian Foreign Ministry, is aimed at
creating conditions for the development of a sustainable and
environmentally-oriented tourist industry in Eastern Slavonia.
The document was signed by the Austrian Ambassador to Croatia, Hans G.
Knitel, Vukovar-Srijem County prefect Nikola Safer and the deputy mayors of
Vukovar and Ilok.
