The Czech PM said his country fully supported Croatia on its path to the EU and the start of its negotiations on EU membership. He also offered Croatia the assistance of Czech experts and negotiators.
Sanader said the Czech Republic and Croatia were two friendly countries, and expressed confidence that the two countries would make their cooperation more concrete and intensify economic ties, the statement said.
At the talks with Macedonian PM Buckovski, Sanader stressed Croatia and Macedonia were successfully cooperating within the framework of the Adriatic Charter. The two PMs highlighted NATO and EU membership as their countries' strategic foreign policy priorities. They agreed that Buckovski would officially visit Zagreb in the near future when an economic forum would be held in order to establish closer ties between Croatian and Macedonian businessmen, the statement said.
