The Serbian government reported on Friday that Lazarevic decided to surrender and travel to The Hague at the end of next week. He will be accompanied by Serbian ministers.
According to the Serbian government statement, Lazarevic made his decision on Friday during talks with Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica. According to the statement, Lazarevic said that defending national interest was the most important thing.
The Serbian PM said his government and the country would provide all necessary guarantees for Lazarevic and entirely help his defence.
