The association consists of three members: an alliance of churches called "Word of Life", the Church of the Integral Gospel and the Protestant Reformation Christian Church, which together have about 1,000 followers.
Their representatives on Wednesday told a news conference they believed they were discriminated against in the exercise of their rights.
In this context they said that they had already asked the Ivo Sanader cabinet to conclude an agreement but "after some procrastinations, the secretary of the government's commission for relations with religious communities, Franjo Dubrovic, said that they had no right to (the agreement), in line with the latest conclusions of the Government."
Dubrovic said that the three religious communities had met neither of the two conditions for the conclusion of the agreements, according to conclusions which the Government adopted on December 23.
The first condition is that religious communities were active on territory of Croatia on 6 April 1941 and that since then they have continuously been present in the country, and that the number of their followers went over 6,000 according to the last census.
The second condition is that the community in question has historical roots and belongs to the European cultural circles such as the Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church, the Evangelical Church in Croatia, the Reformation Christian Church in Croatia, the Islamic Community and the Jewish Community in the country.
