The protocol is aimed at facilitating the exchange of information, reports, documents, laws and legal regulations, opinions and data.
Bajic said that the protocol will prevent perpetrators of crimes to use state borders so as to avoid responsibility for committed crimes.
Also present at the signing was Croatia's Ambassador to Bosnia, Josip Vrbosic, Bosnian Justice Minister Slobodan Kovac and deputy head of the Bosnian Prosecutor's Office special departnment for organised crime Georg Hallbacti.
The protocol became effective immediately.
