BANJA LUKA, Jan 15 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Savo Todovic, who has beenaccused by the UN war crimes tribunal, on Saturday voluntarilysurrendered to the Bosnian Serb entity's Interior Ministry and wastransferred from Banja Luka to The
Hague, a senior ministry officialtold Hina.
BANJA LUKA, Jan 15 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb Savo Todovic, who has been
accused by the UN war crimes tribunal, on Saturday voluntarily surrendered to
the Bosnian Serb entity's Interior Ministry and was transferred from Banja Luka
to The Hague, a senior ministry official told Hina.The 52-year-old Todovic is accused of breaches of the Geneva Conventions
and of crimes against humanity he committed in Bosnia-Herzegovina in his
capacity as deputy head of a prison in Foca between April 1992 and August
1993.
The indictment accused him alongside Milorad Krnojelac, who was given a
15-year sentence, and Mitar Rasevic, who is on trial.
