SUBOTICA, Jan 14 (Hina) - On the night between Thursday and Friday
unidentified persons drew chauvinist graffiti on the walls of a building in
Subotica, in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina, housing the offices of
the local Croatian-Bunjevci-Sokci party, the party said in a statement. The graffiti read "Get out of Serbia" and "Zvezda, Serbia, Never
Yugoslavia - Delije 024".
The party said in a statement that the incident was a warning to all
democratic political options.
The Croatian-Bunjevci-Sokci party was formed in Subotica ahead of last
year's local elections, but it did not become a parliamentary party at any
level in Serbia.
The party was formed by several dissatisfied members of the Democratic
Alliance of Vojvodina Croats, which has representatives in three municipal
assemblies and the Vojvodina Assembly.
