Accepting a new JNA that would make it possible for one people to dominate the others is not acceptable to any political party in Republika Srpska, Cavic said on Monday, adding that if this happened, parties from the Serb entity, which recently signed an agreement on harmonised political activity, would urge considering the possibility of demilitarising the country.
Cavic told reporters in Banja Luka that High Representative Paddy Ashdown had promised not to impose any solutions in the areas of police and defence.
"If this were to happen, it would be a huge step backwards and pose a problem for Bosnia's future," Cavic said.
