"The quashing of the verdict for crimes at Ovcara will not shake the War Crimes Prosecution," Vukcevic said after the signing of an agreement on a US donation to Belgrade's Special Court for War Crimes.
Vukcevic said the murder of 200 Croatian prisoners of war at the Ovcara farm in eastern Croatia in 1991 was one of the biggest war crimes committed on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, and that "all war criminals will be brought to justice".
Fourteen persons were convicted of the crime last year while two were acquitted, but Serbia's Supreme Court quashed the verdict last week, so that all the accused will be retried.
Signing the donation agreement, Deputy US Ambassador in Belgrade Roderick Moore said he was satisfied with the work of the Special Court for War Crimes but disappointed with the Supreme Court's decision.
The latest US donation amounts to 50,000 dollars. To date the US has invested more than a million dollars in the Special Court for War Crimes in Belgrade.
