VUKOVAR, Dec 13 (Hina) - Vukovar-Srijem County prefect Bozo
Biskupic and Serbian Ambassador to Croatia Radivoj Cveticanin held talks in the
eastern Croatian town of Vukovar on Wednesday about cross-border cooperation,
relations between Vukovar-Srijem County and Serbia and the position of national
minorities.. Ambassador Cveticanin said Serbia and Croatia led an
active policy aimed at normalising the relations, adding that there were still
some outstanding issues, such as the issues of the border, missing people and
the position of minorities.
According to him, the position of the Serb national minority in Croatia
was improving.
Prefect Galic said his county wanted to improve cross-border relations
with Serbia, notably in the economy. He said that solving the issue of missing
and detained persons was a priority.
