BELGRADE, Dec 20 (Hina) - Serbian President Boris Tadic has signed a joint declaration within the Igman Initiative, which promotes the development of the entire region and Euro-Atlantic integration processes, his office said in a press release on Wednesday.

Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, and the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nebojsa Radmanovic, signed the declaration at the 14th session of the Igman Initiative in Montenegro in mid-November.

The document commits the heads of states to helping their nations in dealing with the recent past, creating conditions for the return of refugees and displaced persons to their prewar homes, and creating conditions in which national communities and minorities would be able to foster their national and cultural identities.

We will establish full and permanent cooperation at all levels and coordinate our activities in combating all forms of organised crime and terrorism. We will provide the necessary support to the Hague tribunal with the aim of bringing those indicted to justice and individualising the guilt, the declaration says.

The Igman Initiative comprises over 140 non-governmental organisations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia, and its purpose is to improve relations between those countries.
