ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - The chairman of the Croatian Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Gordan Jandrokovic, on Tuesday met Serbian Ambassador to Croatia Radivoje Cveticanin to discuss the promotion of parliamentary cooperation
between the two countries, the Sabor's public relations office stated.
ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - The chairman of the Croatian Parliament's
Foreign Affairs Committee, Gordan Jandrokovic, on Tuesday met Serbian
Ambassador to Croatia Radivoje Cveticanin to discuss the promotion of
parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, the Sabor's public
relations office stated. The two officials reached agreement on
meetings between Croatian and Serbian parliamentary officials, likely to be
held in May or June next year.
They also discussed Croatia's accession talks with the EU, with
Ambassador Cveticanin saying that Serbia strongly supported Croatia's
integration with the EU.
Also under discussion was the current situation in Serbia, Serbia's
admission to Partnership for Peace, the upcoming elections, and the expanded
Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) that was signed in Bucharest
today.
