SARAJEVO, Dec 11 (Hina) - Roman Catholic and Serb Orthodox
dignitaries in Bosnia-Herzegovina have called on their clergy and faithful to
promote understanding and cooperation and to contribute to the well-being of
Bosnia-Herzegovina as their common homeland, the Bosnian Catholic press agency
reported on Monday. The primate of the Catholic Church in Bosnia,
Cardinal Vinko Puljic, and Orthodox Metropolitan Nikolaj held their seventh
meeting in the northwestern city of Banja Luka at which they urged Bosnians,
particularly believers, to avoid hate speech and any other form of extremist
behaviour.
They urged the country's authorities to help refugees and invest more
efforts in the restitution of church property.
