MOSTAR, Nov 28 (Hina) - The chairwoman of the association of
refugees and displaced persons of Bosnia-Herzegovina, on Tuesday called on the
country's authorities to start reconstructing the remaining 40,000 houses and
flats that had been destroyed in the 1990s war. Zukic was speaking
at a protest rally in the southern city of Mostar. About 150 protesters
expressed their dissatisfaction at the slowness in the rebuilding of remaining
war-damaged homes.
Bosnia's authorities assess that the housing reconstruction would
require some 500 million euros.
