ZAGREB, Dec 1 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Friday received Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Qeku for talks on the situation in southeastern Europe, the region's European prospects and bilateral relations, the Government's
public relations office said in a statement.

Friday received Kosovo Prime Minister Agim Qeku for talks on the situation in
southeastern Europe, the region's European prospects and bilateral relations,
the Government's public relations office said in a statement.
Premier Qeku informed the Croatian official of the state of affairs in the
ongoing negotiations on Kosovo's final status and his recent talks with
European officials.
Sanader said that Croatia would like to see further developments
regarding the UN-administered region proceed towards contributing to the
stability and cooperation in southeastern Europe with respect for peoples'
interests.
Sanader also pointed out the importance of protecting minority and
human rights in Kosovo as part of democratic standards.
