The office of the local prosecutor in charge of juvenile crime was submitted a report on the incident.
A police report made on the day after the incident, October 9, described the crime as destruction of property. Another report, submitted today, read that the boy would be held responsible for causing damage to the reputation of the Republic of Croatia.
Karlovac County Police Department chief Tomislav Kotic said that the latest report was submitted because the investigation revealed a more serious motive for the incident.
The act entails a prison sentence ranging from three months to three years.
The incident was condemned by most political parties and war victims' associations, as well as local officials.
