According to medical records, Glavas is capable of attending the hearing of witnesses as part of an investigation which was launched into him and Krunoslav Fehir on suspicion that they committed war crimes against local Serb civilians in the eastern city of Osijek in 1991.
Devicic said on Thursday that although he had only been drinking water since 18 November and although he lost considerable weight, Glavas was agile although simple activities such as climbing stairs tired him soon.
Glavas persists in refusing medical check-ups.
On Thursday, two police officers were questioned who had been engaged in an on-the-spot investigation in the murder of Cedomir Vuckovic. Glavas attended their interview but their testimonies, just as the probe into Glavas, are classified.
The prosecution charges Glavas with having ordered the killing of Vuckovic and Djordje Petkovic and with having ordered the torture of another three Osijek Serbs.
A friend of Glavas, Ivan Drmic, who is a parliamentary deputy of the regional HDSSB party, on Thursday reiterated that while they used to be members of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) he and Glavas helped Ivo Sanader to take the helm of the party by foul play.
Glavas already claimed that he was involved in rigged intra-party elections so as to help Sanader win the 7th convention of the HDZ party, which Croatian Prime Minister and HDZ leader Sanader resolutely denied.
