MOSTAR, Nov 21 (Hina) - A total of 42 percent of housing units demolished during the war in Bosnia have been reconstructed while 58 percent are still waiting to be renovated, the president of the alliance of Bosnian refugees and displaced persons, Merhunisa Komarica, told Bosnian Federation Radio on Tuesday, on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the Dayton Agreement which ended the war in that Balkan country.

Komarica said that of the total number of people who returned to their prewar homes, only one percent had found jobs, mostly in agriculture. She called on the authorities in Bosnia to invest more efforts in creating new jobs, with health insurance for the returnees, and to solve the problem of education that returnees' children were faced with.
