ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - On the last day of this week's session,
the Croatian Parliament will discuss the financing of local self-government
units, but the voting on items discussed this week, including the one on
stripping independent MP Branimir Glavas of immunity, is uncertain.
At the end of Thursday's session, Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks announced
tomorrow's session and concluded with the words: "By this, we will most
probably wrap up this week's work".
His statement confused reporters as well as deputies, particularly
those from the ranks of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) who told
reporters that only Speaker Seks knew if the voting would take place
tomorrow.
