On Thursday, the Centre for Human Rights held a panel discussion in Zagreb on the topic "All Different -All Equal" which engaged representatives of the Croatian Family Affairs' Ministry and nongovernmental organisations' representatives who commented on Croatia's human rights record.
The Council of Europe is conducting the campaign called "All Different -All Equal" from June 2006 to September 2007, and the main sponsor of the action in Croatia is the above-mentioned ministry.
Today's event in Zagreb is also held in memory to Kristallnacht' or night of (broken) glass in Germany when the members of the Nazis Party set fire to more than 250 Jewish synagogues and smashed the windows of thousands of Jewish homes and businesses on the night between 9th and 10th November 1938.
