Osijek Police Department spokeswoman Edita Roterbauer said on Tuesday that a person had been arrested on Monday on suspicion of committing the crime of threat and that he had been detained for the purposes of conducting a preliminary investigation. She declined to reveal the arrested person's identity.
At a recent press conference in Osijek, Ivica Magdic said that he and his wife had received dishonest proposals from the police, including a move to Australia, if his wife agreed to testify against Glavas.
Asked if it was true that several arrests had been made in Osijek today and yesterday in connection with the Glavas case, Roterbauer said the information was not true, adding that one person had been summoned for an interview on Monday and left home after it ended.
