Rupel was quoted by the Slovene media as saying after the hour-long meeting that Minister Grabar Kitarovic and he had talked about the implementation of the joint project for a levee construction on the Mura River.
"We reiterated that we are committed to the agreement the two Prime Ministers, Janez Jansa (of Slovenia) and Ivo Sanader (of Croatia) reached and to the Brijuni Declaration (on avoiding incidents)", Rupel said.
Commenting on the New York meeting, he said that he frequently met her Croatian colleague and that this time they had rather extensive talks.
