VUKOVAR, July 19 (Hina) - US Ambassador to Croatia Robert A. Bradtke on Wednesday visited the Podunavlje Free Zone in eastern Croatia where he met the leaders of the Vukovar Reconstruction and Development Fund and local entrepreneurs,
who informed him of cooperation between the government and local business people.
VUKOVAR, July 19 (Hina) - US Ambassador to Croatia Robert A.
Bradtke on Wednesday visited the Podunavlje Free Zone in eastern Croatia where
he met the leaders of the Vukovar Reconstruction and Development Fund and local
entrepreneurs, who informed him of cooperation between the government and
local business people. Bradtke said cooperation between the
government, the Fund and entrepreneurs was good for Croatia.
He also met the president of Vukovar's County Court, Ante Zeljko, and
the eastern town's mayor, Tomislav Sota.
Bradtke also visited Vukovar's fire department, the demined area of
Vucedol, and laid a wreath at Ovcara, a farm outside Vukovar where more than
200 people were killed in late 1991.
