The statement said a joint decision to temporarily close down works and start preparations for leaving Lebanon was made in Chekka earlier today at a meeting of investors and representatives of contractors from Germany, Austria and Croatia.
The statement said the decision was conveyed to the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, the German Embassy in Bayreuth, and the German Foreign Ministry, which will coordinate the evacuation.
The Croatian ministry confirmed receiving the information about the withdrawal of Djuro Djakovic workers and said it was in touch with relevant countries to make sure the evacuation was carried out safely.
