ZAGREB, July 12 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament's public
relations office issued a press release on Wednesday, dismissing reports
carried by Hina and some newspapers that a protocol gaffe had occurred during a
visit of a delegation of the US branch of the Maltese Order to the Sabor. The delegation was received by member of Parliament Miomir Zuzul as
scheduled and therefore we refute as untrue the allegation that the Sabor
Speaker Vladimir Seks refused to receive the delegation, the press release
reads.
It is also untrue that Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, who led the
delegation, did not want to meet the Sabor Speaker and that Seks was present
at a meeting between Prime Minister Ivo Sander and the delegation, the press
release added.
