The award was given at a ceremony organised on Tuesday by the Croatian Television broadcast Business Club, the Lider business weekly and the Kapital Klub company.
Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader presented the awards to Dalekovod CEO Luka Milicic.
According to Milicic, 60 percent of the company's revenues are earned on the foreign market.
In the first five months this year, the company's exports were 30 percent higher than the entire export last year.
The awards 'Zlatna Dionica' and 'Zlatni Udjel' have been conferred for nine years according to the performance of nominated companies whose shares are traded on the stock exchanges in Zagreb and Varazdin.
This year, 42 shares were nominated for the awards.
The Croatian Postal Bank (Hrvatska Postanska Banka) was given a special award for its contribution to the development of the Croatian capital market.
A majority of the Zlatni Udjel awards went to the funds of Raiffeisen Invest, which was proclaimed the best society in the management of investment funds in 2005.
