ZAGREB, May 22 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Affairs and European
Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Monday applauded the fact that
the referendum on Montenegro's independence was held peacefully, but said one
should wait for official results before making any comment. "The
Croatian government will take a position on the result of the referendum in
Montenegro with a statement this afternoon," she said. "In any case, Croatia
adjusts its policy with the European Union."
The minister also said that Montenegro's expected independence would in
any case provide "the foundation for the future arrangement of mutual
relations".
