Civil society organisations are expected to be actively engaged in discussions on key issues regarding a future organisation of the European Union and in efforts to better acquaint citizens with the Union, given that Croatian citizens will decide on Croatia's entry into the EU at a referendum, participants in the event said.
The discussion pooled representatives of civil society organisations in Croatia, including nongovernmental organisations and trade unions, and the European Commission Delegation's head, Vincent Degert, Austrian Ambassador to Zagreb, Helga Konrad, and some Croatian officials.
