Receiving credentials from Egyptian Ambassador Mohammed Ashraf Gamal Eldin Rashed, Mesic said Croatia and Egypt should intensify relations and that plans for the first official visit at the highest level would contribute to that.
During talks with Kazakh Ambassador Dulat Kuanishev, who is based in Vienna, Mesic said Croatia and Kazakhstan had very good relations and that a number of Croatian companies were interested in participating in projects aimed at the modernisation of Kazakhstan.
During talks with Philippine Ambassador Linglingaye F. Lancanlalu, Mesic said cooperation between Croatia and the Philippines was not very intense but that the two countries were interested in advancing relations, notably in the economy. He added that Croatia's ports and newly built roads could serves as the Philippines' gateway to European markets.
