If that does not happen in the next few days, we will have no other choice but to cancel the next round of talks, which is scheduled to take place in Belgrade on 11 May, Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn said in Brussels on Friday after meeting Serbia and Montenegro's Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic.
Rehn said he appreciated what Belgrade was doing to break up the network of supporters of the fugitive general, but noted that it was not enough and that it was high time Mladic was located, arrested and transferred to the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague.
The EU commissioner announced he was meeting the tribunal's Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte next Wednesday to discuss the issue.
