The decree will particularly help clothes makers and footwear producers that have over recent years been affected by the tidal wave of cheap fake goods, Finance Minister Ivan Suker said at the Government's session.
The Ivo Sanader Cabinet also adopted a decree on state subsidies with an aim of distributing the state support more equally.
The Government also proposed amendments to the Profit Tax Act.
The Government gave a total of 200,000 kuna to four consumer protection associations to help them cover costs of tests of quality of products in 2005.
The Sanader Cabinet also discussed fire-fighting measures taken in the first quarter of this year, and expressed satisfaction with their results.
