The president of the Croatian Chamber of the Economy, Nadan Vidosevic, said Croatia needed new investments, notably greenfield investments, adding that this was an opportunity for cooperation.
Bavarian state minister for the economy, infrastructure, transport and technology Erwin Huber said Croatia was one of Bavaria's important partners, adding that possibilities for cooperation had not been exhausted. He said Bavaria supported Croatia's path to the EU.
German Ambassador to Croatia Jurgen A.R. Staks said that active promotion of the Croatia-Bavaria economic, cultural and political cooperation would mean a lot in the context of Croatia's joining the EU.
The Croatia-Bavaria foreign trade last year amounted to 615 million euros or 16 percent more than in 2005. Croatia's exports to Bavaria amounted to 1991, while imports from Bavaria totalled 424 million euros.
