The forum is aimed at enabling the two countries' business people to make business contacts.
Croatia companies can benefit from these contact and through cooperation with Hungarian partners Croatian business people can access the EU market, the head of the Economic Affairs Office in the Hungarian Embassy in Zagreb, Tibor Suelt, said at the event.
He said Hungary was the fourth investor in Croatia, following Austria, Germany and the United States, adding that the two countries' relations have been intensified since Hungary's joining the EU in 2004.
The two countries' trade in 2005 amounted to 712 million US dollars of which 574 million dollars was Croatia's imports from Hungary. In relation to 2004, Croatia's exports to Hungary went up by 33.2 percent and imports by 12.9 percent.
