ZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader has
convened a meeting with the management of the oil company INA about petroleum
prices for Thursday, after he returns from an official visit to Poland, the
government said on Tuesday. The Economy Ministry is also preparing
other measures to alleviate the consequences of the increase in petroleum
prices, except the price of Super 95, which is currently the most used type of
fuel in Croatia, the government said.
It added that it was unrealistic to expect the prices of all 95-octane
fuels to remain below eight kuna when on the world market a barrel of petroleum
costs up to about USD80.
