ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - President Stjepan Mesic has accepted a proposalby Prime Minister Ivo Sanader that the Hague war crimes tribunalshould be requested to declassify the president's protected testimonybefore the tribunal and make it available to the public.
ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - President Stjepan Mesic has accepted a proposal by Prime Minister Ivo Sanader that the Hague war crimes tribunal should be requested to declassify the president's protected testimony before the tribunal and make it available to the public.

Sanader made the proposal at a meeting on Thursday, which was held as part of their regular consultations, the government's public relations office said in a press release.

Mesic informed Sanader about his visit to Kazakhstan, where he attended the inauguration of President Nazarbayev on Wednesday, and about his talks with heads of state who attended the ceremony.

Mesic and Sanader also discussed other topical issues, the press release said.
