ZAGREB, Dec 14 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Wednesday decided to allocate 26.2 million kuna for education, culture, science and health programmes of Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The government earmarked 14.7 million kuna for cultural projects, ten million for education and science projects and 1.5 million kuna for health projects.

PM Sanader reiterated Croatia would do everything to help Croats in Bosnia preserve the status of an equal, constituent and sovereign people.

Saying that Bosnia is conducting talks about amendments to the Constitution, Sanader said Croatia would take part in those activities and do all that it could to help Croats preserve the status of an equal people.

Sanader said that under the Constitution and the Dayton Agreement Croatia was entitled to provide for Croats in the neighbouring country, respecting Bosnia's autonomy and sovereignty.

The Croatian Government also decided to set up a commission to call a public bid for similar programmes in 2006.
