Wishing the best to all the Islamic dignitaries and faithful on the occasion of this major Islamic holiday, the Croatian head of state writes in his message: "May these days of pilgrimage and prayer, religious and family union in solidarity with the destitute be an inspiration to the Islamic faithful in the Republic of Croatia for their continued commitment to the building od social peace, dialogue and progress as well as solidarity and inter-religious understanding".
The message which the Croatian President released on Saturday finished with the traditional greeting among local Muslims: "Bajram Serif Mubarek Olsun!".
According to the Gregorian calendar, the celebration of Eid ul-Adha will start on 10 January this year.
