ZAGREB, July 19 (Hina) - The National Committee monitoring Croatia's EU accession talks has discussed, supported and consented to negotiating positions for chapters 31 and 33 of the EU acquis communautaire, which concern foreign,
security and defence policy and financial and budgetary provisions, chairman Zoran Milanovic said after the Committee's 24th session on Thursday.
ZAGREB, July 19 (Hina) - The National Committee monitoring
Croatia's EU accession talks has discussed, supported and consented to
negotiating positions for chapters 31 and 33 of the EU acquis communautaire,
which concern foreign, security and defence policy and financial and budgetary
provisions, chairman Zoran Milanovic said after the Committee's 24th session on
Thursday. "Croatia has been joining the positions of the EU also in
other international organisations, the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe, and the UN, and this has been an integral part of our
foreign policy for some time," Milanovic said.
The National Committee also heard a report by Croatia's chief
negotiator with the EU, Vladimir Drobnjak, on the course of negotiations and
the last meeting.
