ZAGREB, June 13 (Hina) - During its 26th session, which is scheduled to last until July 15th, Interior Minister Ivica Kirin dismissed the request by the Social Democrats (SDP) who demanded his resignation over his statements
concerning the monitoring of the server that uploaded a video-clip of the minister"s public mishaps, on the popular video portal, YouTube.
ZAGREB, June 13 (Hina) - During its 26th session, which is
scheduled to last until July 15th, Interior Minister Ivica Kirin dismissed the
request by the Social Democrats (SDP) who demanded his resignation over his
statements concerning the monitoring of the server that uploaded a video-clip
of the minister"s public mishaps, on the popular video portal, YouTube. Nenad Stazic of the SDP said that Kirin's statement caused harm to all
Internet users and to Croatia's reputation and asked the minister when he would
resign.
Kirin reiterated that reporters had misinterpreted his words and told
Stazic that he was not authorised to speak on behalf of Internet users.
