ZAGREB, May 30 (Hina) - The Croatian national oil company INA and the Djuro Djakovic Holding have denied allegations by some environmentalist groups that the globular containers for storing liquefied petroleum gas in the Urinje
refinery in the seaport of Rijeka were made of inadequate steel which could cause the leakage of gasses.
ZAGREB, May 30 (Hina) - The Croatian national oil company INA and
the Djuro Djakovic Holding have denied allegations by some environmentalist
groups that the globular containers for storing liquefied petroleum gas in the
Urinje refinery in the seaport of Rijeka were made of inadequate steel which
could cause the leakage of gasses. The two companies on Wednesday
issued separate statements responding to the allegations.
INA said that none of its plants, including the globular container in
concern, would not be allowed to operate if it was not proved that they met the
highest standards.
INA said that it complied with strict rules in this sector.
Djuro Djakovic said that when constructing industrial chemical and
energy facilities, this company applied the relevant standards and
experience.
