The proposal will be sent to the government, which will then decide when the initial public offer will take place, Polancec told reporters after a meeting of the Commission for the Privatisation of HT.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the government, HT and its majority owner Deutsche Telekom. The proposal was put forward by government and Deutsche Telekom advisers.
The government decided in September 2006 to sell at least 20 per cent of HT shares, originally planning an initial public offer for June this year.
