In attendance were representatives of NATO and the organiser, the State Protection and Rescue Administration. The two ministers said that the organisation and holding of the exercise had shown Croatia in the best light.
Kirin said the exercise had shown that Croatia had services ready to react in all natural and other disaster situations and that their readiness level met NATO standards.
The director of the exercise, Damir Trut, voiced hope that NATO's assessment of the exercise would be very high.
IDASSA 2007 was officially closed in camp Soline, where the teams from 44 countries, NATO and Partnership for Peace members, received certificates on a successful exercise, which engaged more than 1,200 participants.
