Glavas filed the request on May 8, insisting that judges Miroslav Jukic and Ante Budic "are not impartial towards me."
Ljubojevic explained in his decision that Glavas failed to provide evidence to support his allegation that the said judges were biased against him.
Glavas was transferred from the Osijek prison to a prison hospital in Zagreb on May 10 after his health deteriorated owing to a hunger strike. He began the hunger strike on April 27, unhappy with the work of the judiciary and demanding provisional release pending trial.
His lawyer, Drazen Matijevic, said that Glavas continued the strike in the hospital.
