Brockmeyer, who used to be a spokesman for Lansky - Ganzer & Partner while it represented Zagorec, declined to give any details, referring reporters to Zagorec's lawyers in Zagreb.
Zagorec, a retired Croatian army general who has been living in Austria for the past seven years, was arrested in Vienna last month on an international warrant issued by a Croatian court. He is charged with misappropriating USD 5 million intended for Croatia's defence during the 1991-1995 war.
After a hearing at a Vienna court on March 19, when he opposed being extradited to Croatia, Zagorec was released on bail.
